Ucluelet is located 1.5 hours’ drive from Port Alberni and 2.5 hours’ drive from Nanaimo.
The road is winding with construction stopping through-out the day. Please look at drivebc.com for all up to date traffic information for highway 4.
Keep in mind there is no gas station for 83km when you depart Port Alberni, and very limited to no cell phone service until you reach Ucluelet.
To get here, you have the option of flying in to Tofino airport. However, it’s best that you reserve a car, as it’s almost as much as your taxi ride to and from the airport and you will be able to get to secluded beaches and access more of our beautiful coastline
